In 2013, Zack Troy entered Denison University and is a member of the Big Red Football team, starting at Right Guard. He is double majoring in Communications and Economics, with a concentration on data analysis and research.
Zack attended Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School. Since freshman year, he was a member of the Central Catholic football team. Zack was a two year Letter winner, as a starting Left Guard. In 2011, Zack’s team was ranked #1 in Pennsylvania and #12 in the country.
Zack has been an honor student throughout grade school and high school. He began his football career in 3rd grade; playing for Bethel Park Township. From 4th through 8th grade, he played football for his grade school, St. Louise de Marillac. While at St. Louise, he also played on the basketball, track & field (shot put/javelin) and volleyball teams. He also played AAU basketball, volleyball, and USATF Track & Field. Zack has donated his time with St. Louise de Marillac’s Youth Ministry basketball program and as an altar server, as well as for Central Catholic’s, My Brother’s Keeper (mentoring Freshman), and the junior Special Olympics.
